From pressure to possibility : Your Next Chapter

Mar 19, 2024

I'm sitting down to write this article, and straight off the bat, let me tell you: it feels good to not stress about what anyone else might think.

I might end up publishing it, or maybe I won't. That's the beauty of it—I don't have to decide right now. So, I'm writing because I want to, free from the pressure of needing it to be perfect.

Right now, I'm in a place where I'm ready for something new, something big. But there's also this part of me that's processing the end of an era, something I've held onto for a long while. And yeah, as I write, that inner critic of mine keeps chiming in, asking if what I'm writing will matter to anyone else. But honestly? It doesn't really matter because this piece might just be for my eyes only.

Over the years, I've grown a lot. I've been through so many changes and learned so much. It's gotten to the point where it's time to switch things up, especially with the programs I've been running. Whether it's been through masterminds, group coaching, or any other format, it's always been as much about expanding my own limits as it has been about helping others grow.

My coach threw a curveball at me recently, asking, "What if you aimed 10 times higher?" Suddenly, I wasn't just thinking about doing things the way I always have.

I was forced to expand my vision.

It wasn't about the 'how' anymore; it was about the 'who.'

Who would be in those rooms with me?

Who could help me make this larger-than-life vision a reality?

That conversation shifted everything for me.

So here I am, on the edge of something new, feeling a mix of excitement and fear.

It's like standing at the edge of a cliff, ready to jump, knowing there's no going back. The key is to keep looking forward, to stay focused on the vision, and not to get caught up in the fear of falling.

And this brings me to a question for you:

What would you do if you weren't worried about what others might think?

If you knew nobody would see your work, how would you spend your time?

What would you create if you removed all pressure?

This article is my way of exploring these questions. It's an experiment in thinking freely, without boundaries or expectations.

Love,

Rita
